IF YOU’RE PLANNING A WEDDING AT THE BATH BOTANICAL GARDENS, YOU’LL LOVE THIS WEDDING FOR INSPIRATION!
Chessie and Steve got married at The Minerva Temple, which is hidden in the tranquil setting of the Bath Botanical Gardens.
The ceremony was a beautiful service and the reception took place on the lawn next to the temple. It certainly was a lovely golden sunny Autumn day. The lawn was the perfect set up with picnic blankets, deck chairs, and a small marquee, laden with cakes, freshly squeezed juices, and of course, champagne! The ice-cream Bike was a hit! the kids (and the adults!) were slurping ice creams all afternoon. Still plenty of room for cake though!
During the ceremony, I wasn’t able to go inside to take photos due as they were limited on numbers due to Covid. I was able to shoot from the distance and managed to catch Steve shedding a tear. It was such a lovely personal service.
The Minerva Temple is one of the most beautiful places to have a wedding in Bath – it is perfect for intimate weddings, secluded within the Botanical Gardens. There are so many beautiful spots to take advantage of, we were spoilt for choice with photo ops!
