I headed out to Woodbridge the day before the wedding as it’s a good 4-hour drive from humble Bath. Tony and Tara put me up in a fab hotel called Seckford Hall Hotel and Spa. I certainly made use of the spa option, I even managed a refreshing swim before heading off the venue. This was a first for me and I was totally focused on the day ahead!

Woodhall Manor is one of the best places to have a wedding in Suffolk – it is a very romantic setting for a wedding, and offers exclusive use and onsite bedrooms so guests don’t have to leave early (hangover friendly!) There are loads of amazing places that are perfect for photo ops. It was a beautiful summer day. The gardens were full of bloom with large colourful roses lining the stone walls.

I met with Tara and the bridal party who were all pretty relaxed. The room was stunning and full of character so bridal photos were a pleasure. Tony and the chaps were equally as relaxed, so much so they headed down for a few games of pre-ceremony pool!

The ceremony was held in the Cherry Blossom Room which is set within the walled garden. During the ceremony, they had a beautiful reading. It was really touching.

After sunset drinks in the garden, it was time to party and everyone headed to the Garden Lounge to boogie the night away.

Weddings at Woodhall Manor are amazing because the grounds are completely stunning and the Manor has heaps of character. It was the first time I had photographed a wedding at the manor and was certainly spoilt for choice.
